In March, we are undertaking a studio service. Alan has completely stripped out the control room of all equipment and gave everything a good clean and all wiring has been checked.
All of our Valve equipment and DBX 160S, Eventide H3000, have gone to our service engineer to have valves changed and generally checked over to make sure all is in good working order.
Alan has just added a new headphone amp and installed the X32 console for monitoring purposes which now means we can give up to 8 stereo mixes to anywhere in the studio. The X32 is purely used for monitoring. All recordings are still direct from mic to Lynx Aurora converters to the Mac.
Outputs from the mac are then fed to the X32 to send headphone mixes.
