At Solitaire we have been recording music for over 32 years. Over that time Alan has been involved as a recording/mix engineer, mastering engineer and a producer or co-producer on literally hundreds of albums, singles, EP’s, and soundtrack projects for artists, record labels and video production companies.
At Solitaire we can produce all your recorded needs from the spoken word to full music recording.
We can also produce and/or mix audio for film and corporate productions. The studio is capable of mixing mono, stereo and up to 6.1 surround.
Solitaire has a full stable of experienced session musicians covering all instruments – piano/keys, acoustic and electric guitars, acoustic upright and electric bass, drums and percussion, flutes, whistles, fiddle, banjo, mandolin etc. With our musicians we can cover almost any instrument and genre.
In house we are able to record full string sections. our normal strings arrangements utilise 14 x 1st violin, 12 x 2nd violin, 10 x Viola and 8 x cello to give a beautifully full and rich sounding string production on any recording.
