Our Commitment To Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. To better protect your privacy we provide this notice explaining our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used. To make this notice easy to find, we make it available on our homepage and at every point where personally identifiable information may be requested.
The Information We Collect
This notice applies to all information collected or submitted on this website. On some pages, you may be able to enquire about products, make requests, and register to receive materials. The types of personal information collected at these pages are:
- Name
- Email address
- Password
Other information may be requested to facilitate completion of an order or enquiry, such as a phone number, but this information is clearly marked as optional.
The Information We DON’T Collect
We don’t collect credit/debit card information. If you register on our website, you will be asked to provide a password. This is automatically encrypted so that we have no access to it. The website can calculate if a submitted password matches what it should be, but for security, we have no means of determining your chosen password.
The Way We Use Information
We use the information you provide about yourself when placing a request only to complete that request. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete that request (for example, postal services).
We use return email addresses to answer the email we receive. Such addresses are not used for any other purpose and are not shared with outside parties.
We use non-identifying and aggregate information to better design our website. For example, we may determine that X number of individuals visited a certain area on our website, but we would not disclose anything that could be used to identify those individuals.
Parts of our site make use of a technology known as “cookies“. These are required to keep track of such things such as shopping carts and other user preferences when moving from one page to the next. While it does involve storing a small amount of information on the user’s computer, it does not create any security or privacy risk. Specifically, every time a user visits our site, a unique code is stored as a cookie. The next time they visit our site, provided they are using the same computer, and the cookie hasn’t been deleted or expired, then the unique code can be checked against our database so that any user preferences are restored. For example, if you are registered on our site and request that your login details are remembered, then when you return to the site, you will automatically be logged in. This is a convenience that saves you having to conduct repetitive tasks each time. The only personal information that can be retrieved using this technology is the information that has already been provided to us by you. This information is subject to the same privacy policies outlined in the rest of this document.
Finally, we never use or share the personally identifiable information provided to us online in ways unrelated to the ones described above without also providing you an opportunity to opt-out or otherwise prohibit such unrelated uses.
How You Can Access Or Correct Your Information
If you no longer have access to your login information, you can contact us through our contact page. You can correct factual errors in your personally identifiable information by sending us a request that credibly shows error. To protect your privacy and security, we will also take reasonable steps to verify your identity before granting access or making corrections..
